Hi Robberto, we do not have any real data, I am sorry. Only we have is a current forecast here: http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=42543 and an archive made of past forecasts - see the "archive" link on the bottom right corner of the forecast table.
I need some information on wind velocity at the beach of the East Frisian Island Wangerooge in Germany on March 23th, 24th and 25th 2013. I know there was a strong eastwind, but I hope you can help me with exact data of wind velocity on the beach of Wangerooge.
hi all
i am trying to understand how to read steaming maps in the Mediterranean sea.
any help will be good here, where i can find streaming maps? how do i know where are the warm streams, etc
Hello, saddened but me pass by a Google translator.
I have very often to notice since some year that forecast in account pro are less precise in WRF 9KM than in WRF 27 km.
Nevertheless the treated(handled) zone is smaller in 9 km than 27km and I understands(includes) why there is always an error either on the one or on the other one.
The most difficult for me are that I do not trust any more in value indicated by the site.
I use the site for my exit(release) of marine fishing, and I thus need at 12 pm meadows of rather precise indications.
There are even several times completely inverse indications in other sites. Which(who) they are more in the truth.
You can give me answers or information to this subject.
Thank you
Hi
My question is wether it would be possible to add the unit m/s to wind speed scale on your Iphone app? In the end this is one of the most commonly used scales in Europe?!
Thanks in advance
Joachim Kurtén
If you were looking at 9:00 CEST 18 May then the latest WRF9 km model forecasts (Europe) are still from the 17 May 18 UTC cycle, this is OK and according to update schedule, see here: http://www.windguru.cz/int/help_index.php?sec=models
The date in the forecast table is date of the initial conditions which were used to start the model, it's not a time when the forecast was finished or updated. Example: the global GFS model (run by NOAA/NCEP) with 00 UTC initial conditions is finished at about 5:00 UTC, after that we can feed the WRF model with GFS initial data and run it, it then takes time to compute and postprocess the results and only after that we have WRF forecasts. The approximate update schedule is here: http://www.windguru.cz/int/help_index.php?sec=models
Tip: If you mouse over the model init time you will see when the data were last updated and also expected time till next model update.
This still does not seem to have been fixed. I am viewing WRF9 at 0900h on Saturday 18th May and your data is still dated 17th May. I have paid your subscription for up to date information and am not getting what I paid for. Not happy.
I have to state that generally your forecasts are too optimistic. I made many travel decisions based on your site, and frequently the forecast was corrected DOWN 3 - 5 knots just the day before I traveled.
So just happened for Guanaja where I am now sitting with the expecttion of a kiteable weekend on a 9m however the forecast for today and Saturday was just corrected down from 22 knots in the afternoon to 19.... only Sunday still looks good and I expect this to be corrected down as usual on saturday.
